Some of my favorite Early Childhood sites

Ambleside Online
Free online Charlotte Mason education website. Ambleside Online is for preschool through grade 6, while House of Education Online is for 7th - 12th grades. Booklists, schedules, sources for books in the public domain, articles on Charlotte Mason education, and so much more. This is THE Must-Have site for my family!

The Virtual Vine
The Virtual Vine is a resource for Early Childhood teachers, preschool through second grade. It's a site filled with ideas and activities to make teaching and learning FUN through themes and units, displays, literacy and math connections. You can also tour the owners classroom, find teacher inspirations and tips, website help, MS benchmarks, links galore, and a whole host of other things as well.

ABC Teach
5000+ free printable pages and worksheets. Membership is not required for most printables, however there are some pages that are only available to members.

50birds.com
Don't let the name fool you! The coloring books on this page cover birds, mammals, fish, butterflies, frogs, and more.

Alfy.com

Free online reading lessons, with free printables. VERY basic, but very good. Starts with short vowel sounds and works up. In their download center, you can print out "Cut Out and Take Home" books of the stories in each section so that your child doesn't have to be online to read the stories. They are in black & white, so your child can have the fun of coloring their own storybook. =c) There are also printable activity sheets for each lesson available for free.

Moms Break school printables
Moms Break "Grade Bucks" can be used to let your children trade good grade for treats, money or other items. Cut out the bucks and make-up the value you wish each grade buck to be worth. Example: A = 10 cents, B = 5 cents and C = 1 cent. Then your child can save the Grade Bucks for money or treats that you have established the value of. (Comment from Dawn: There are MANY more printables on this site! I love their little cartoon with the printing obsessed Mom. *grin* Looks like me. ROFL)
